I am so glad to visit this post. I am feeling proud for sharing my views on this topic. I think you should create a new message box using available tools. It would be also fully compatible with the iPad. I didn't do this ever...but you should try this.

This is a Template feature request that I'm trying to hack myself but I thought I'd post it up here.

When you go to send a card the form fields are very close to the card itself. It would look much better if there was more of a gap between them.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to achieve this I'm finding it a bit tricky, probably because the card and the fields are inside a table

Yesterday I've bought WebCards. What I miss here is a directory of customisation. For example a language and template directory so that we can share customisations.

In that case we can help each other with translations and state of the art templates.

Regards,

OK, what I discovered after looking in the code was that the labels for the fields were switched - i.e - what was labeled for 'enable registration function' had the form field for 'Enable personal user calendars' and vice verse. In noting this, I went into ad_config and switched them correctly. I then also discovered that there was no 'enable_calendar' value in the settings table under 'option_name' and so I have added it in my code.

And yet it still does not change. So I looked in the settings table and discover that there is no row with 'enable_calendar' as an option_name value. I must add it indeed. I've had to correct no less than 20 insert and update statements as well as default values in the tables on v2.7.

We have people using html 5 canvas animations and natively embedded video (html5) and all sorts of content.

However you can do it manually. Go into phpMyAdmin and navigate to the wc_sent_cards table. Locate the appropriate card and change "sender_id" to reflect the appropriate user. By default it will be "guest."

Catalog numbers for cards. Description is fine, but I have a few cards I am paying commission on for the use of the picture. If I could sort and get stats for a range of Catalog number or special coded catalog numbers that would be helpful to me.

Word Press integration would be nice. The only problem I see with that is that WP updates multiple times a year. If you make a plug in then you have to keep it updated. Maybe a theme would be a better way to go.

I have just taken a quick look at the code. I can see that freetext is parsed in render_card.html but not in email_card.html. I will get this sorted for you ASAP.

how can you add the freetext to the html email I can get it to work on the preview page by adding {{freetext}} to the render_card.html template, I also added it to the email_card.html template without success. Is there something missing in the index.php.

Hi

I just installed the webcards software. All went well. I saved my admin name and password. Always set password and copy it to the software. It worked for several hours, but now I can't get logged in.

I am also having a lot of problems with the software working very slowly and the server timing out. I am hosted on GoDaddy which might be a problem. I used your software a few years ago and had no problem.

I need to know how to reset the password for the admin since it keeps rejecting what I set as the password. I searched, but there is nothing left to read about it. Someone mailed the solution to the person. I know there are ways to reset it on other software programs, but don't know the solution for this one.

If you have a suggestion, I sure would appreciate it since I don't want to install the software again.

Thank You. Pat

Sorry for the delay in replying to this. I have finally find the source of the problem. I will fix the problem in the next release but to patch your current version you need to open up source/member_functions.php and scroll to line 228 which looks like this:

$_SESSION['logged_in'] = 1;
 $_SESSION['fingerprint'] = md5($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']);
 $_SESSION['sql_sess'] = $rand_id;

You need to replace this whole chunk of code with this:

$_SESSION['logged_in_user_id'] = $fb_row['id'];

If you have trouble with this please email me chris.charlton@gmail.com and I can do it for you.

Chad,

I think WebCards would be able to do this, but it would require some quite significant modifications. Are you good with PHP? Would you be able to make these changes yourself?
