This could be because of how IE handles cookie domains. Can you look in the wc_settings table in the databae and let me know what value you have for cookie_domain. You can email me at chris.charlton@gmail.com if you prefer.

I dont see an option in the admin and was wondering if it was possible. I've set all my cards to be for members only, but I also don't want people being able to send cards unless they pay the membership. Am I just missing something?

OK, what I discovered after looking in the code was that the labels for the fields were switched - i.e - what was labeled for 'enable registration function' had the form field for 'Enable personal user calendars' and vice verse. In noting this, I went into ad_config and switched them correctly. I then also discovered that there was no 'enable_calendar' value in the settings table under 'option_name' and so I have added it in my code.

And yet it still does not change. So I looked in the settings table and discover that there is no row with 'enable_calendar' as an option_name value. I must add it indeed. I've had to correct no less than 20 insert and update statements as well as default values in the tables on v2.7.

You can't do this as the card isn't linked to a particular user.

However you can do it manually. Go into phpMyAdmin and navigate to the wc_sent_cards table. Locate the appropriate card and change "sender_id" to reflect the appropriate user. By default it will be "guest."

Hi

I just installed the webcards software. All went well. I saved my admin name and password. Always set password and copy it to the software. It worked for several hours, but now I can't get logged in.

I am also having a lot of problems with the software working very slowly and the server timing out. I am hosted on GoDaddy which might be a problem. I used your software a few years ago and had no problem.

I need to know how to reset the password for the admin since it keeps rejecting what I set as the password. I searched, but there is nothing left to read about it. Someone mailed the solution to the person. I know there are ways to reset it on other software programs, but don't know the solution for this one.

If you have a suggestion, I sure would appreciate it since I don't want to install the software again.

Thank You. Pat

Sorry for the delay in replying to this. I have finally find the source of the problem. I will fix the problem in the next release but to patch your current version you need to open up source/member_functions.php and scroll to line 228 which looks like this:

$_SESSION['logged_in'] = 1;
 $_SESSION['fingerprint'] = md5($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']);
 $_SESSION['sql_sess'] = $rand_id;

You need to replace this whole chunk of code with this:

$_SESSION['logged_in_user_id'] = $fb_row['id'];
