I use Entourage - a Microsoft software for the Mac. But...I went to my Yahoo web interface that gets it before Yahoo forwards it to my Entourage email software, and on the Yahoo web it was correct.

So, I don't know what is happening with my email program, or what would happen to other people who may be using that program, or if it's happening with other email programs. Any ideas?

Is this being sent plain text or html? I sent myself a demo card from your installation and the email worked fine. Which email software are you using?

I did a test by sending a card to myself. However the email had a very long link, and I had to click on the 2nd part of the link to get to the card I sent.

When I click on the first part I get to the web page that asks me to choose a picture and create a card. In looking closely at the first and 2nd part of the link, I noticed that the code is slightly different in the 2nd one it has &id=ea146c103f> where as the first part doesn't have the &id. See example below.

To pick it up just point your Browser to the following address:
http://confidencecenter.com/EmployeeMoraleCenter/webcards/index.php?act=do_pickup=ea146c103f <http://confidencecenter.com/EmployeeMoraleCenter/webcards/index.php?act=do_pickup&id=ea146c103f>

Is there a way to eliminate sending the first part of the link?
Thanks, Harriet

You can change the order of the main form by editing the template file main_form.html.

You can't save a card as a draft to add more recipients, but that is supposed to be the point of having a recipient limit.

The next version has the recipients layed out in a much more compact way.

What is the recommended maximum number of Recipients For Each Card?

I have allowed 10 recipients, but if someone is only sending to one person, she/he has to scroll down past all the recipients to finish formatting the card. I think it would be more user friendly to have all the formatting choices before putting in the recipients names. Can this be done?

Also, suppose they want to send to more than 10, is their card saved so that they don't have to do the formatting again?

You can edit the email text through the language files.

I have always wanted to separate the email content from the language file, but it helps to keep everything organised and together.

You can't currently specify a global email header or footer but this shouldn't be too difficult to add if you want it.

There does come a point where the admin cp would become to over-crowded so sometimes it's easier to leave stuff where it is.

I guess only a small percentage of users want to customise to a heavy degree so you have to expect they will have some html/php knowledge.

Other php based software I've used has required a certain amount of hacking around in files so it's par for the course really!

No problem.

I am trying to put this sort of variable into the admin centre, but it is difficult as I want to keep anything language specific in the language files.

Hi and thanks for your questiona.

1. There is currently no built in way to add email addresses to a database, but I would be more than happy to add this for you free of charge.

2. The licence only allows you to use the installation on a single domain. We don't offer a comission program, but I will certainly give you a discount on bulk purchases.

3. This should be very easy to integrate and I will be happpy to work with you to get this working.

If you want to discuss any further details with me, feel free to email me chris@mywebcards.net

Hi there webcards,

I have three pre-sale queries.

1) I wish to use an ePostcard to firstly help generate traffic to my website but also as a means of collecting email address with the intention of sending out an eNewsletter. Is there the means of a checkbox that just before the 'send' button asks permission for the users email address to be stored for future correspondance/eNewsletter use? If not can it be added easily?

2) Having purchased this once, can I use multiple times for free on my clients sites? If not, do you offer a commission scheme by which each time I incorporate this onto one of my clients sites, I earn a sellers fee for selling your software?

3) I have a bridal shop as a client, who wants to have an ePostcard facility on their site, which can be either a general picture, or if a bride see's the dress she wants, she can email a picture of it on the postcard to her girlfriends?
