Sorry, we no longer support version 1 of WebCards.

The current version 2.6 is a totally rewritten piece of software that offers so much more than 1.x versions and is definitely worth an upgrade.

Hi,

I'm using 1.3 version of WebCards. There is a posibility to change a numer of recipients in admin panel, but it dosen't work. There is place for additional recipients email addres, but system sends notification about the card only to the first email addres on the list.
Is ther possibility to make it work? To send one card to eg. 6 recipients in 1.3 version of WebCards?

You can change the order of the main form by editing the template file main_form.html.

You can't save a card as a draft to add more recipients, but that is supposed to be the point of having a recipient limit.

The next version has the recipients layed out in a much more compact way.

What is the recommended maximum number of Recipients For Each Card?

I have allowed 10 recipients, but if someone is only sending to one person, she/he has to scroll down past all the recipients to finish formatting the card. I think it would be more user friendly to have all the formatting choices before putting in the recipients names. Can this be done?

Also, suppose they want to send to more than 10, is their card saved so that they don't have to do the formatting again?

Unfortunately, we no longer support WebCards 1.3. It lacks in so many features and you should definitely upgrade to WebCards 2.0. You aren't able to translate those language sections in WebCards 1.3.

We are offering a discount on WebCards 2.0 for current users of 1.3. Please email me chris@mywebcards.net for more information.

Hi Chris,

Sorry I forgot to say I'm using version 1.3. When I check the language files (index, global, e-mail) they have max 96 lines

There are some language variables that are used all over the place, these are two such examples.

You can translate "Recipient" on line 135 of the language file and "email" on line 136.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Hi

I am trying to translate the user-pages into to the local language (Dutch), but at the main_form.html I am not able to adapt the sentences:
"Recipient 1 email"
"Recipient 2 email"

They are not in the language files ( at least, I can not find them :-)

It seems they are retrieved from the database?
When I remove {{recipients}}, the "Recipient 1 email" text is gone, but also the formfield.

Is it possible to translate this part, or remove this text? (the empy field is self explaining I guess)
The translation of the "can_enter_up_to" and "card_recips" works fine.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"||can_enter_up_to|| {{max_recip}} ||card_recips||

{{recipients}}

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks

Martin
