    Hi,

There a a few things i need to look at before buying.

    1. I need a email storing option where by the sender's and recipient name & emails are automatically stored into database when they send a greeting card.

    2. Export option to export the stored names and emails to excel.

    3. Can the client login and register option be temporary disable as when I needed.

    Thanks.

    Hi thanks for your questions.

    1. The sender and recipient details are automatically stored in a database. Are you wanting to add the details to a separate database?

    2. There is currently no export option. I am not too sure what you would want to export the data for, but you can use a tool such as PHPMyAdmin to export the data to Excel.

    3. You cannot freeze users' accounts but this is a feature I am happy to add for you.

Let me know if you need any more information.

What I really need is sender's and recipient names and emails to be automatically stored to the database without registering or login. Meaning every guest users who uses the greeting card will have their names and emails stored to the database.

For the exporting part, I'm fine with phpmyadmin.

Lastly, what i meant was, when as i needed i can disable the user login/registration options in admin area. Guest are able to use the full features without the needs to register/login.

When a user sends a card their name and email address and that of the recipients is stored in the database. It doesn't matter if they are logged in or not, the data is stored in the same way. So I think that addresses your first question.

You currently can't disable the register and login features, but if you purchase WebCards I will be happy to make these modifications for you.
It isn't possible to offer a guest user every feature that a logged in user has access to by the very nature of the fact that you can't identify who a guest is.
You can't make a contact list work with a guest user, for example. And you can't look at your history of sent cards either. But if you are happy to live without these features then disabling logins and registrations shouldn't be a problem.

Let me know if you need any more help or have any more questions.

    One last question.

    Scenario example : guest sender e.g guest@guest.com sends to recipients 1@1.com, 2@2.com, 3@3.com, 4@4.com and 5@5.com.

Now we has establish that all these emails and name will be automatically stored to the database.

Follow up on Scenario example : guest sender e.g guest@guest.com sends AGAIN to one same recipients 1@1.com and four new recipients 6@6.com, 7@7.com, 8@8.com and 9@9.com.

Question is, will sender guest@guest.com have duplicate entry in database? same question goes for the recipient 1@1.com.

Yes, given your example guest@guest.com would have multiple entries in the database, as would 1@1.com. All the entries would stay there as long as the card remained valid. As soon as the card expired, the email addresses would be removed from the database.

Just to clarify the point about cards expiring. It's up to you how long the cards are valid for until they expire. You an set it to something huge (say 10 years) which essentially means the cards will never expire and the information will never be dropped from the database.
