   I'm embarrased to ask, because it will show how totatlly ignorant I am about installing programs, but, I guess it would be even more stupid not to ask, so please bear with me...

   I don't understand the installation instructions...

   Upgrading Instructions
   ----------------------

   1. Upload all the files contained in the archive BUT NOT config.php.
   2. Run upgrade.php
   3. Check your settings are still OK
   4. DELETE upgrade.php

   My Questions: Version 2.1 upgrade has all the files I need. I don't need to upload version 2 first to the server? Which settings do I check?

   Installation Instructions

   2. Upload all the files and folders BUT NOT upgrade.php
   3. Run install.php
   4. Delete install.php

   My Questions: If the files have already been uploaded to the server, what does it mean to upload them again?

   Again, please sorry to ask such a dumb question. You are helping an old lady here, and I appreciate your patience very much!!! :)

   Don't feel embarassed about asking questions. I am here to help whenever you need it.

   There are two types of installation:

   1. Clean installation from scratch. This is what you should do if you don't already have WebCards installed.
   What you need to do is upload all the files in the zip archive to the appropriate folder. You then need to run the file installation.php

   2. An upgrade installation. If you have a previous version of WebCards you need to upgrade to the current version. To do this upload all the files in the zip file except config.php. Then run the file upgrade.php. If yyou are doing an upgrade there is no need to run install.php.

   If you are still having trouble please let me know if you already have WebCards installed and I can guide you from there.

   Of course, how logical! Thank you so much Corbyboy! I had purchased version 2,and had not installed it yet. Version 2.1 came out right after that, so I was confused. This makes perfect sense.

   I can't wait to try the program. I hope you have a wonderful week!!!

   If you have not yet installed version 2.0, simply download version 2.1 and you can start with a fresh install.
