Problem with Yahoo Users

When a Yahoo email user (both Mac and Windows) clicks on the link to confirm registration, a new window is opened. The user then enters login/password -- however when the user hits "Login" the user is taken back to Yahoo email. So essentially the user is kicked out of webcards and then confused.

How can the "Login" button be modified to keep the user in Webcards?

The login page is set up so that it redirects a user back to the previous page they were on before they logged in. If this was a Yahoo Mail page then that is where they will be redirected.

However, a user should never be taken to the login page direclty from an email. Which email contains a direct link to the login page, or is this a modification you have made yourself?

I have not made any modifications (don't know how).

    It's the email that says:

    Please confirm your Webcards Registration

    Dear User Name,
you recently registered for a Webcards account.
Please follow the link below to activate your account:
    (link)
You must activate your account before you can send a Webcard

The Yahoo user is using the web interface, so she clicks on the link above which opens up a new browser window: "Login to your Account." Then the user enters her user name and password, then clicks on the "Login" button. Then, unfortunately, the user is sent back to Yahoo email which is really disorienting for the users -- which describe it as "being kicked out of Webcards."

I apologise for the misunderstanding, I understand the problem now.

I have made a change to the WebCards zip file that fixes the problem. You can log back in to your Member Centre and redownload the WebCards zip file. The only file that you then need to upload is /source/member_functions.php.

Let me know if you have any further problems.
